Newbie

Hello there, my name is LaRa! I'm not sure if you are familiar with Southern California Tribal groups, but I am a member of Atash Maya (www.atashmaya.com & atashmayasandiego.tribe.net). We are a tribal fusion & fire performance group, and also a formaer member of Devadasi under Rachel Lazarus Soto (now Blue Damsel).

I am moving to Provo in April. I'm really nervous about the move & leaving my troupe....& all my lovely bellydance girls and boys. Out here I have been teaching ATS & Fusion for a few years. I have also been recently certified in ATS Basics by Fat Chance Belly Dance. I am interested in finding a place to share what I know & perhaps find some commradery.

Also, as Melodia is a memeber of Atash & is one of my dearest friends, I am thinking of vending some Melos out there for her. However, I am not sure if there is an interest & if so, how big of an interest there is.

ANY, information could reallllly help me here. I am sooo nervous I can't explain!!!!

Welcome to Provo! If you would like to teach a class out here, that'd be wonderful! As for good places, I know there are a lot of girls at BYU (not kidding) and Utah Valley who are interested in learning tribal/tribal fusion, especially from someone as qualified as you. =)

      I am finally here...yayayayayaayayayaaaa....
I am interested in finding a place where I can teach 1) 1.5 hr. Beginning ATS class w/ half hour yoga warm-up 2) 1.5 hr. Int./Adv. Tribal Fusion class w/ half hour yoga warm-up
      3) 1-1.5 hr. Belly Dance Drills for cardio w/ stretching. I can also teach 45 min. KIDS classes & classes geared toward MOM'S.

I am also available for Guest Teaching classes, Private & Small Group Lessons, Workshops & Performances w & w/o Fire. NOTE- I do NOT teach fire performance, however.
